Answer: We only offer private Tibet tours, so you may start anytime at your convenience if you choose our private tours as long as the flight schedule matches your plan.
2. What is private tour?
Answer: Private tour means that you will have a tailor-made tour itinerary, a private vehicle, a driver and a guide. During the tour, there will be no other tourists with you, but only your family members, or close friends.
3. How can I make a tour itinerary?
Answer: You can choose the pre-made Tibet tour itinerary from our website and send your requirement to us. Our on-line sales staff will help you with the further discussion.
4. I want an private tour, but I do not want to do shopping, can you manage it?
Answer: Yes, we can manage that. We offer high quality of the ground service including shopping. But if you do not like shopping, we assure you that you are not led to any shops. But it is our guides' responsibility to show you the essence of local product (specialties). If you are not interested in any products at all, please specify this point with your travel advisor when making a reservation.
5. Can you explain what's the difference among the luxury, standard, and budget tours?
Answer: There is no any other difference except the hotels condition during these tours.
Luxury tour will stay at four star standard hotels in Lhasa, and the best hotels in other cities;
Standard tour will stay at three star standard hotels in Lhasa, and three star standard hotels or the best hotels in other cities;
Budget tour will stay at a two star standard hotels in Lhasa, and two star standard hotels or the best hotesl in other cities.
We can still offer deluxe tour with a staying at Lhasa five star standard hotels.
Just one thing you should bury in mind is that hotels in Tibet concerning its facility and service are not what you imagine. Not like hotels in big cities in China and other cities abroad.
In Lhasa, Tsedang, Shigatse, Lhatse, Nyinchi, we can easy to find a hotel with private bathroom inside, but at remote places, such as Lhatse, Rongbuk or the places on the way to Mt.Kailash, normally the room has more than 3 beds, without any shower inside, even some without hot water.
6. Do guides speak English? What is their experience attainment?
Answer: Yes, most of our guides are English speaking with well-educated professionals and guiding experience. The China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) conducts annual tests to maintain the quality of their services.
7. Do you provide vegetarian meals?
Answer: Yes. The meals can be arranged as per our clients' requests.
8. Should I tip?
Answer: Tipping is not customary in China. However as the tourism develops, tour guides, drivers, and the hotel staff do expect tips. If the service is satisfactory, tips to the guide and the driver will be appreciated. However, in restaurants and on taxis, tips are not necessary.
