Reservation Procedures
You can contact with us by email / MSN messager / Phone call / Tour Inquiry Form to let us know your tour plans. After receiving your inquiry, we will work out an ideal tour itinerary and price with full understanding of your requirements (it may take several emails to discuss). When it finally meets your satisfaction, then it's time for you to book your trip with us.
It is highly recommended that your tour reservation with Yangtze River Cruise be made 50 days prior to the actual traveling date while others can be made 30 days prior to the actual traveling date. You can complete your booking by following steps:
Step 1). As soon as you make up your mind to book our tours, a confirmation Letter from CYTS Chengdu - MYTIBETTRAVEL(with our company stamp) will be sent to you by email to state every travel services and booking terms clearly.
Step 2). Please check through your confirmation letter and confirm back to us as soon as possible. You need to sign your signature & confirmed date on it and send it back to us by fax (+86-28-86254710) or attach the scanned pages by email.
Step 3).Deposit is required within 3 working days after we get your confirmation.
You can choose to pay full payment or 30% of your tour fee as deposit of tour reservation, the balance 70% of your tour fee can be paid at our Chengdu office before you start your tour, otherwise you need to pay the balance at least 15 working days before departure of your tour.
Tour reservation deposit (30% of your tour cost per person) should be paid by Western Union, Wire Transfer or Paypal on-line upon your confirmation. The transfer charge is on your own. A reservation for your tour will not be considered firm until the deposit is received.
The tour balance(70% of your tour fee) should be paid 40-15 days before departure of your tour, which will be remarked specifically on the confirmation letter.
After you make the deposit and/or balance transfer, please send us the copy of the transfer receipt by email or fax to us at (+86-28-86254707).
Step 4). As soon as your deposit and/or blance reaches at our account, you will be confirmed by an invoice issued by CYTS Chengdu - Windhorse Tour.
Step 5). A travel memo will be sent to you 10-4 days before you start your tour, which includes E-tickets / Cruise confirmation letter, hotel name, guide name and contact phone number, ect.
Step 6). We suggest you to print out your travel confirmation letter, travel memo as a voucher when you start your trip.
Alteration of Itinerary
Alternations to your itinerary before the booking is processed are happily processed free of charge. We want to provide the best tour possible for you. Alterations after we have received your booking confirmation letter will attract a fee of 20USD per request.
CYTS Chengdu - MYTIBETTRAVEL reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alteration necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged accordingly. If the tour itinerary has to be changed at the request of the client/s, any extra charge or loss incurred due to such change will be borne by client/s.
Cancellation& Refunding
We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to China, however we realize that there should be many valid reasons that this can be happened.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Cancellation refund will be issued within 15 working days of our receipt of your written cancellation request. The cancellation fees will be assessed as follows:
Up to 30 days before departure......................80USD per person
29-15 days before departure......................... 15% of the tour cost
15-7 days before departure............................30% of the tour cost
6-3 days before departure...............................50% of the tour cost
2 days or less, or no show..............................100% of the tour cost
If a cancellation is caused by forces, such as weather, unforeseen circumstances, political upheavals, air or rail transportation company etc., neither party shall be held responsible, a full refund of the unused tour fare shall be made back to tourists(bank transfer charge will be deducted from the refunding fee)..
If a tourist has to leave his tour group because of accident, injury, or serious illness, a refund of 50% of the unused tour fare shall be made to the tourist. No refund will be made available for a tour member who otherwise quit the tour group on his own account.
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
* All cancellations must be in written form and will only be effective upon receipt by Windhorse Tour in specified time as per tour.
Health Requirements
Clients should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they intend to visit. Clients are solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. The Department of Health or medical practitioners will be able to assist with current health requirements and recommendations.
Before making a trip to Tibet, we highly recommend all travelers to check if he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. Anyone who suffers heart-attack, pulmonary disease, and hypertension is not suggested to enter Tibet.
Luggage AllowanceIn accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
Insurance & Documentation
Please make sure to purchase your international standard of travel insurance coverage before your departure from your country. You have to obtain your China Visa before your trip to China.
Tour Operator's Responsibility
MYTIBETTRAVEL is a tour operator licensed in Chengdu , China .
We make and secure all arrangements for transportation, sightseeing and accommodations for the tour concerned. Although we take great care in selecting these suppliers; we have no control over them and, therefore, cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions. We act solely as agents for these independent suppliers. By utilizing the services of suppliers, you agree that neither MYTIBETTRAVEL nor any subsidiary or affiliate of MYTIBETTRAVEL shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay incurred by you or those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts or default of the suppliers or from any occurrence or condition beyond the control of MYTIBETTRAVEL, including defects in vehicles or breakdown in equipment. Nor shall MYTIBETTRAVEL be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay resulting directly or indirectly from delays, cancellations or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, steamers or other services, strikes, theft, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes. Suppliers' liability may also be limited by law, tariffs or conditions on tickets and in particular you should read and understand the limitations of liability set forth in the airline ticket or other documentation. All accommodations, services and facilities are subject to the laws and customs of People's Republic of China. MYTIBETTRAVEL reserves the right to withdraw any tour in this program and to make such alterations in the itineraries as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties or the proper operation of the tour, in which case the sole liability of MYTIBETTRAVEL shall be a refund of fees paid(to see the Alterations). MYTIBETTRAVEL reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour should such person's visa application is rejected or such person's actions mental condition, physical infirmity of general behaviour impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other members of the tour.
Complaint & Claim
Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service CYTS Chengdu - MYTIBETTRAVEL has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel assistant immediaitly to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip. In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. CYTS Chengdu - MYTIBETTRAVELwill not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
