In the Kham area, there are 25 holy mountains and 18 holy peaks, mostly in Chamdo.

Deqing Phodrang Holy Mountain is the most important holy mountain in Chamdo. Located in Riwoqe and filled with scenic spots, the peak is not very high, but features a quiet environment.

Gubu Holy Mountain is called a 'mountain for exploration'. Featuring steep cliffs, it is dotted with lava caves.

Dorlha Holy Mountain is located to one side of Sichuan-Tibet road. It is divided into the outer, middle and inside tracks. On the way, walking along the middle track you can see a site for sky burial and many kinds of stone carvings. Standing on the top of the main peak you will have a full view of the whole Dorlha Holy Mountain. The inside track takes you to the core part of the entire Dorlha Holy Mountain. You can have a chance to worship and appreciate Buddha statues of Padmasambhava, pagodas and others tourist attractions.
