Riwoche Temple
Riwoche Tsuglakhang is about 30km western of Riwoche town, it was founded in 1276 by Sangye On, who relocated to Kham after the death of his master Sangye Yarjon, the third leader of the Taglung order, Riwoche started as an offshoot of Talung Monastery in U. Eventually, however, it grew to overshadow its parent monastery. It is still the more vibrant of the two, retains the characteristic red, white and black vertical stripes of teh Taglung school and is home to 305 monks. There is no any admission fee to visit Rowoche Temple.
