Day 1 Chengdu / Beijing / Xi'an/Shanghai to Lhasa
Your Tibetan guide will meet you at Lhasa airport and transfer to your hotel in Lhasa(70KM, 40minutes - 1hour). Upon arrival at Lhasa, have a good rest to acclimatize in the high altitude(Lhasa, 3650m). Overnight at Lhasa .
 
Day 2 Lhasa sightseeing (B+L+D)
Today you will pay a visit to the World Heritage Sites of the Potola Palace, Johkang temple, and the bustling bazzar Barkhor Market. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 3  Lhasa /Yangbachen hot-spring / Namtso Lake (B+L+D)
Day tour to Namtso Lake via Yangpachen hot-spring.You will have a chance to see Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges, and pass the Nagela.Namtso Lake is the sky lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, and also the highest salt lake.You can do a bit trekking at the lake side.On the way back,  have hot-spring at Yangbachen.Overnight in Lhasa. 
 
Day 4 Lhasa/Yamdrok lake/Shigatse (B+L+D)
Start trip to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake in the early morning.Drive up to Kambala pass(4794m), you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso, which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet.Then drive back to chushul, along the Nepal friendship way to Shigatse.Visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in the afternoon. Overnight at Shigatse.
 
Day 5 Shigatse / Shegar / Rongbuk Monastery / E.B.C (B+L)
Early morning start driving to Rongbuk via Lhatse and Shegar, cross over Gyatsola Pass(5,220m) which is the highest pass en route and you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
  
Rongbuk is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good spot to see Mt.Everest. In the afternoon trek up to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30rmb/per person,round-trip). Overnight at Rongbuk guest house. (dorm bed)  

Note: The entrance fee of Mt. Everest Base Camp is 185rmb/per person. Then Entry fee of the Landcruiser to E.B.C. is 400rmb. It is a bit cold to stay at Rongbuk, so you'd better  take your sleeping bag with you. Please prepare your own package food for Rongbuk staying.

Day 6 Rongphu/ Shegar/Shigatse (L+D)
If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C.. About noon time, start driving back to Shigatse.Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 7 Shigatse / Gyantse / Lhasa (B+L+D)
After breakfast, drive to Gyantse, it is only 90km from Shigatse. You will also visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumpum, it is the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along the friendship way. Overnight at Lhasa
 
Day 8 Lhasa airport dropping off.
Morning Airport dropping off, end the trip.
