Day 1 Chengdu / Beijing / Xi'an/Shanghai to Lhasa
Your Tibetan guide will meet you at Lhasa airport and transfer to your hotel in Lhasa(70KM, 40minutes - 1hour). Upon arrival at Lhasa, have a good rest to acclimatize in the high altitude(Lhasa, 3650m). Overnight at Lhasa .
 
Day 2 Lhasa sightseeing (B+L+D)
Today you will pay a visit to the World Heritage Sites of the Potola Palace, Johkang temple, and the bustling bazzar Barkhor Market. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 3 Lhasa sightseeing (B+L)
Today you will visit the two biggest Gelupa monasteries-Drepung and Sera Monastery and Summer Palace - Norbulingka, overnight at Lhasa.

Day 4 Lhasa / Yumbulakang /Trundruk monastery (B+L+D)
Morning drive to Tsedang,located by Yarlung Valley.It is the capital of Shannan Prefecture. It has a reputation for 'the cradle of Tibetan Civilization'. On the way visit Mindroling Monastery.In the afternoon visit Yumbulakang Palace and Trundruk Monastery. Overnight at Tsedang .

Day 5 Tsedang / Samye Monastery (B+L+D)
Today's visit is to Samya Monastery which is the first one built in the 7th century and has three buildings with different style (Tibetan Hans and India), Overnight at Tsedang.

Day 6 Tsedang / Yamdrok Lake / Shigatse (B+L+D)
Early morning start trip to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake. Drive up to Kambala pass(4794m), you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso, which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Then drive back to chushul, along Nepal friendship way to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in the afternoon. Overnight at Shigatse.
 
Day 7 Shigatse/ New Tinggri (Shegar)/ Rongbuk Monastery / E.B.C (B+L)
Early morning start driving to Rongbuk via Shegar, some parts of the road is being constructied.On the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220 m, which is the highest en route, and from the pass you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
 
Rongbuk is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good spot to see Mt.Everest. Afternoon start trekking from Rongbuk to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30rmb/per person,round-trip). Overynight at Rongbuk guest house.(dorm beds)
 
Note: The entrance fee of Mt. Everest Base Camp is 185rmb/per person. Then Entry fee of the Landcruiser to E.B.C. is 400rmb. It is a bit cold to stay at Rongbuk, so you'd better to take your sleeping bag with you.
  
Day 8 Rongbuk/ Shegar/Shigatse (B+L+D)
If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C.. About noon time, start driving back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 9 Shigatse / Gyantse / Lhasa (B+L+D)
After breakfast, drive to Gyantse, only 90km from Shigatse. You will visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumpum, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along the friendship way. Overnight at Lhasa .
 
Day 10 Lhasa airport dropping off
Morning Airport dropping off, end the trip.
